healthy and diverse to recover reef sites and their associated fauna, simultaneously generating benefits
for local communities.
Our Value Proposition
A Reef Restoration Program, which involves the participation of local communities, sustainable tourism activities, training and technology transfer to share benefits in the short, medium and long term.
Beneficiaries
Coastal Communities /
Dive shops and tours / Hotels and tourist companies / Schools and Universities / Coastal population
Our Impact
Through the transplantation of living, healthy and genetically diverse coral colonies, we have managed to recover and connect patches of reefs, integrating the participation of local communities. Since 2014 we have planted more than 60,000 coral colonies, in sites in the Gulf of Mexico and the Mexican Caribbean. We have trained 6 local restaurant groups and at least 3 of our partners in these groups receive additional financial benefits from integrating Program activities into their products and activities. We are now seeking partners and funding to expand our impact and scale restoration efforts to more sites and more communities with different habitats and key species.
- > 60,000 Colonies planted in 18 sites.

- Collaboration for the application of new techniques to scale the Restoration.
- Creation of a Regional Training Center.
