Our restoration site is located within the polygon of the Arrecife Alacranes National Park, in the Tabasco reef.
Thanks to the initiative of the National Park and with financing from CONANP (PROCER Program) we were able to carry out this project. From 2014 to 2016 we managed to transplant more than 3,000 colonies to a site impacted by a grounding.
The nurseries that we have installed and the transplanted colonies had a high survival rate, serving as a starting point for the subsequent work of different organizations.
